The Nigerian Nollywood industry have been thrown in a state of mourning as veteran movie actor, Amaechi Muonagor died on Sunday at 61.
The veteran actor known for his comical roles had passed on after a protracted battle with kidney disease.
fans had taken to social media to mourn the ever smiling actor on yet another Nollywood death.
Muonagor was said to have suffered kidney failure and was on dialysis.
The actor whose video went viral as he solicited for funds had only passed on a few days after even though people were responding to his demands.
Meanwhile, a social commentator, Morris Monye, via his X handle, @Morris_Monye, while mourning the actor, said help was raised to assist the deceased as he battled with health issues.
Monye wrote, “Deeply heartbroken by the news of Amaechi Muonagor’s passing. He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was truly masterful.
